Yesterday we hung out at Grandpa's so clothes could get washed and the hammock could be visited. Cube really likes the hammock. The sun?-not so much. It's way too bright for him and he hates sunglasses, or anything for that matter, on his face. So I do all I can to keep it out of his face most of the time. Other times it's just short spurts so his vitamin D can be synthesized.
He fell asleep for a little bit while I swayed it from side to side. He really likes Mr. hammock.
He fell asleep for a little bit while I swayed it from side to side. He really likes Mr. hammock. For today, we went to Rosie's before going to Grandpa's house. Guess what happened at Rosie's!! HE ROLLED OVER! He went from his back to his belly. He was frustrated because we wouldn't pick him up and he was sleepy. Then... flip! And silence.... he had no idea what had just happened. This silence didn't last too long, though. He got frustrated with the ground being so close to his face and it looked like he was calculating how to roll back over. This back-to-front maneuver happened three times and each time got a standing ovation. Very cool.
Once we got to Grandpa's, Grandpa got there. He got off work early, so they got to spend some time together. Every once in a while when he was outside working on his truck, I would take Cube out for a walk in the front yard. He was fascinated by his new surroundings. His amused look is adorable. :]
