Beginning of a good spring break

This morning Grandpa (on Mommy's side) babysat. They went to Wal Mart and, from the report I got, he apparently loved it. He just really likes lookin' around at new things.
Towards the evening Grandma (on Mommy's side) came into town. We met up with her at my aunt Irene's house and he was sooo cuddly. He even took a nap in Grandma's lap after his dinner. His great grandma was there also, but we'll have more time with her in the days to come. Spring break just started with lots of family and can only get better with longer visits.

Playdate No. 2!!

Yes. Otra playdate. And what a blast it was.

Isabel and her daughter, Mariah, couldn't make it and Michelle and Cube's girlfriend, Micaela, couldn't make it, but he had a great time with his other buddies!And introducing Geo: our mascot. He went to every appointment with his Mommy, Karen, and is such a little ball of light. :)

Thursday

Had a typical morning with Daddy.

Took Daddy to work.

Went to Grandpa's.

Almost rolled over.

Talked with Dorito(Mommy's german shepherd).

Went for a stroll around the yard.

Petted Dorito.

Dorito licked his hand.

He smirked.

Hung out inside.

Hung out outside.

Swung on the hammock.

Investigated his own feet.

Sneezed due to wind.

Played inside.

Almost rolled over again.

Went home.

Just a Thursday.

Sun, sun, sun!

First off, let me apologize for not blogging yesterday. I had a migraine and just could not stare at a little screen any longer.

Yesterday we hung out at Grandpa's so clothes could get washed and the hammock could be visited. Cube really likes the hammock. The sun?-not so much. It's way too bright for him and he hates sunglasses, or anything for that matter, on his face. So I do all I can to keep it out of his face most of the time. Other times it's just short spurts so his vitamin D can be synthesized. He fell asleep for a little bit while I swayed it from side to side. He really likes Mr. hammock.

For today, we went to Rosie's before going to Grandpa's house. Guess what happened at Rosie's!! HE ROLLED OVER! He went from his back to his belly. He was frustrated because we wouldn't pick him up and he was sleepy. Then... flip! And silence.... he had no idea what had just happened. This silence didn't last too long, though. He got frustrated with the ground being so close to his face and it looked like he was calculating how to roll back over. This back-to-front maneuver happened three times and each time got a standing ovation. Very cool.

Once we got to Grandpa's, Grandpa got there. He got off work early, so they got to spend some time together. Every once in a while when he was outside working on his truck, I would take Cube out for a walk in the front yard. He was fascinated by his new surroundings. His amused look is adorable. :]

Day with Daddy

Mommy had errands to run and Daddy was off today, so they had some quality time. They watched some movies and cartoons and napped extensively. A bath was thrown in there as well. Around 9 we had to give him some Tylenol because of a fever that just didn't want to go away. In every other aspect he is fine- just really hot. Tylenol was a last resort. He was bathed, put in minimal clothes, and a fan was pointed at him. Not to worry though, he's cooling down already.


Overall.. okay day. :]

Rainy Day

Cube didn't really do much today. I didn't want him to do much; it was too ugly outside for an infant. This morning we all watched a movie and lounged around. Then he had the fastest bath ever before we dropped him off at his Tia Chelle's. Mommy and Daddy had a movie date and he got to chill with his cousins Landon and Peyton.

Once we got home and I took mijo out of his carseat, I couldn't help but tell Rudy to get the camera- the baby was all cuddly. He looked so cute!
