6 Months!!

I can't believe he's half a year already! It's like just yesterday I was telling people to watch his head and he needed to eat every hour and a half. Wow, time has really passed. He is developing into such a little ball of personality and is super healthy & I wouldn't have it any other way. Not only do I smile thinking back at what he's taught me, but I smile when I think of all the things he has yet to teach me. So, as a tribute to the last 6 months, here is a list of the things I have learned from my little nugget.
~'Mom' is too short of a word to describe any mother's job description.
~Night time does not mean sleep time.
~Baby sleep time does not mean Mommy sleep time.
~Anything within reach is considered fair game for potential taste testing.
~Bibs are vital.
~Shoes are not.
~You can plan your day, but not the order in which it occurs nor at what time things happen.
~Ceiling fans are cooler than you'd think.
~Shadows are more than what meets the eye.
~'Mommy and Daddy' are not only a team, but the entire league, managers, water boy/girl, and the spectators.
~There is no such thing as a boring day.
~Never drop the mamon.
~Babies can sense fear.
~Nothing can compare to a mother's love.
~And last but not least, Mommies really do have magic powers.

Sunday was not only significant, but also fun-filled.
We spent the day at Cube's Grandpa's for a BBQ. The guest list was Rudy(until he went to work), my Grandma(on my Dad's side), my Uncle Ra-Ra, his girlfriend(Michelle), my 2nd cousins(Ana & Alisty), and Cube & I.
Unfortunately, teething pains creeped up on us right as the party started gettin' fun. (I know he's gonna hate me when he's older for this picture. Tehehe.)

And Ana wanted to hold him sooo bad, so I let her just once. Cube didn't like that I put him down, though. lol
Once he calmed down a little, he got fussy again because he wanted to be around all the people. So I took him and he listened attentively to the conversation.

And when he became part of the conversation, this little conceited guy got bashful.
Eventually, we all ended up on the hammock. Who doesn't love a nice swing on a hammock on a nice hot summer day? (Right to Left- Alisty, me, Cube, Ana.)
And of course I had to get a picture of Cube suckin' his thumb sitting on his great Grandma's lap. I love this one. :)

It was a wonderful day :]
